Over the past 12 days, the value of the shares of Waki technology has rebounded continuously, increasing by more than 70 per cent, and the total market value has recovered to more than $280 billion, about $150 billion from the opening of the first day of the market.
In contrast to the massive counter-offensive of market value, Woo-ki ' s first financial report after publish was put on the market on 28 October was much more modest, with most of the financial data being expected, Q3-G received $665 million, an increase of 69.93 per cent compared to the previous rate of increase; net profit after deduction was $105 million, a decrease of 17.42 per cent compared to the previous quarter. Since this year, Woo-ki has significantly increased expenditure on R & D costs, and the downward trend in profits has been in line with previous quarters.
A week ago, at the 2026 World Physics AI Congress and the Wootree Partnership Ecology Congress, Wang Hing-hyun, the founder of Woo-hui, gave a radical judgement that some of the GPT-6 capabilities can already solve some of the robotic planning problems, and that physical AI could make a major breakthrough as the capability of General LLM increases, one or two years soon, and two or three years later.
For a long time, Woo-tree has been recognized by the outside world as a company with partial hardware properties, stronger than the manufacturing of robotics and joints, transport control systems, but the weakness is robotic “brain”. It was not Woo-ki himself that changed the situation, but Open AI’s GPT-6 Astra of publish on September 4th, when the large-language model began to have a certain intellectual general brain, the competitive start-up line of the industry was redrawn and the tree, which had a clear advantage in terms of volume and cost control, became one of the greatest beneficiaries.
The attitude of capital markets has also changed, with Chase Morgan looking at space trees at a target price of $300/equity a month ago and moving the company ' s target price directly to $995/equity a month later.
However, this attitudinal change and revaluation of value did not take place on all smart companies; on the contrary, the entire Q3 industry experienced a clear wave of cooling, with a marked contraction in the financing of the first-tier market, the IPO threshold to the second-tier market being raised, and even the collapse of start-ups.
What is the cause of this contrast, from the market value of a single share to the orderly performance of the company and the cold of the industry? Was the valuation crisis of the company over, when Woo-soo fell from $1,100 to less than $404 per share on the top of the market and then rebounded?
The share of R & D inputs doubled, under M & M Slide
On the basis of the financial statements alone, Woo-tree continues to maintain faster income growth and significant levels of profitability, although the costs of growth have become clearer.
This year, according to data previously published by Woo-soo, the Q1 battalion grew at a rate of 68.49 per cent, with a decrease of $1,152 million in January-June, or 48.54 per cent over the same period, to a rate of 69.93 per cent for the Q3 battalion, which remained close to 70 per cent after a high rate of growth in 2025, indicating that the tree remained resilient.
Another reference is provided by the volume of the goods delivered. The first half of 2026 report of SAGpublish, the United States market research institute, indicates that Uyuki human robotics produced between 170 and 5900 units over the same period, and that six months of the year have exceeded the 5,500 units previously disclosed by the company throughout 2025. The expansion of sales and income growth are mutually evidence of its continuing advantages in home manufacture and delivery.
However, this growth was accompanied by a certain decline in the Māori rate in the first half of the year. The combined Maori ratio for the first half of the year was 56.01 per cent, a decrease of 4.15 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year and a further decline to 54.02 per cent in the first three quarters. The Q3 single-season Māori rate, which is roughly 50.6 per cent based on a rough estimate of cumulative income and cost less data for the first half of the year, has accelerated.
Owing to the lack of disclosure of sub-product data, it is not possible to identify the reasons directly. However, in its previous IPO questionnaire response, Woo-ki provided information that in the third quarter of 2024 to 2025, the Māori rate for human robots decreased from 68.44 per cent to 62.91 per cent, mainly due to an increase in the sales share of the medium-sized product G1 and that the unit price and Māori rates for G1 were below the full size H1 and H1-2 levels. The company ' s positioning of G1 at the time was to expand sales in value terms.
This mechanism may last until 2026. By designing better, negotiating supply chains and the size effect, Woo-tree has brought unit costs down faster than prices, and the rate of Māori continues to fall, at least indicating that changes in prices and product portfolios have not been fully offset by cost optimization.
Cost-side changes are more visible. The Q3 R & D investment was $127 million, an increase of 249.58 per cent over the same period and 19.10 per cent of operating income, almost double the increase of 9.82 percentage points. R & D investment in the first three quarters was $263 million, an increase of 19.48 per cent over the same period. The company attributed these inputs mainly to LLM, computing, expansion of the R & D team and new product development. Sales costs also increased by between $20.245 and $230 million over the same period. R & D and sales costs continue to compress net profits after Maori space has narrowed.
The increase of 270.54 per cent over the same period in the first three quarters of the net profit return to the mother amounted to $387 million. This increase was due in large part to the one-time recognition of a large share of paid over the same period of the previous year. After deduction, the net profit for the first three quarters was $349 million, a decrease of 18.78 per cent over the same period, which is more a reflection of the current state of income expansion in parallel with the undermining of profits.
A similar trend was observed in operating cash flows. Net cash flows from operating activities in the first three quarters were $194 million, a decrease of 54.69 per cent over the same period. The company explained that cash expenditure on the purchase of goods, the payment of workers ' salaries and sales, research and development, among others, increased significantly with the expansion of business.
The financial report did not alter the basic fact that the tree was growing and was making a sustained profit, but was not sufficient to explain alone the rebound of over 70 per cent of the stock price within two weeks.
Before the financial paper publish, Woo-soo had already disclosed the announcement of abnormal fluctuations due to two successive increases. In its announcement of the evening of 26 October, the company advised that the roll-out rate on that day was 465.22 times higher than the average of 38.54 in the generic equipment manufacturing industry, and that physical AI was moving from a laboratory demonstration to a scaled application and still faced the challenges of sensory accuracy, motor control, data accumulation and hardware and software synergy.
LLM as the “brain”, the tree benefits first.
When smart enough to cross the threshold of excess production, everyone in the industry knows that the next "Game Changer" is a brain, but very few will expect that "Game Changer" comes from LLM.
According to Wang Xing Xing, GPT-6 Astra ' s publish has had a huge impact on the industry, and Woo-tree has tried to use this model internally for several robotic experiments, including for robot painting and chess. Woo-ki did not prepare complex procedures for these tasks in advance, simply through prompt, so that robots could do it, and Astra could successfully do some of them under “zero training”.
In the past, robots often needed task-specific programming or specialized training, but now different, the universal mega-linguistic model already had the potential to directly control some of the robots' tasks.
This has also changed Wang Xing Xing's expectations for the industry, and he believes that the critical point for the smart industry will soon come, possibly within a year or two. He also said, “My personal faith in AI is now growing, and the biggest mistake I have made over the past decade or so is not enough for AI. Many people may not yet have fully used or embraced AI.”
This is also one of the reasons for the recent valuation restoration of Woo-tree, which has been the first to benefit from the fact that the intelligent general brain capacity is in the hands of a LLM company, rather than any other furniture-body-smart company, without a clear competitive relationship in a short period of time.
However, this is partly due to the fact that Astra is not incompetent, its brain capacity is concentrated on understanding intent, spatial understanding and decision-making capacity, with short panels still present at the end of the line, and is heavily reliant on cloud operations, with a range of problems such as delay, web speed, signals, etc. being considered in specific applications.
It is still too early to say that a large-language model has a reduced impact on the body, but it offers the industry the possibility of addressing current bottlenecks, while Wang Xing is of the view that “the GPT-7 coming out next year may be a direct blow to the body's intelligence problem”.
In addition to the above, the recent consecutive increase in the market value of the Oki tree also has to take into account the issue of negotiability, with only 7.44 per cent of the shares traded after its listing, the remaining 92.56 per cent being locked, and the price of the booking actually being determined by a very small portion of the chips, it is normal to have large fluctuations in the market value in the short term, and a longer period of observation is needed to revalue the real value. There is also room for restoration in the valuation itself as a result of the continuous decline in the market. The rebound was further amplified by technical expectations, institutional upgrades and leverage structures.
A further important reason for the market ' s early marketing attention was its scarcity, which was the first of A ' s smartness, after the whole track was mostly in the first market, where there was a constant lack of a valuation anchor. This scarcity has been reinforced by recent cooling expectations for the entire intelligent industry and the rise of the IPO threshold.
First, there has been a decline in financing for the first level of the market, with data from the IT oranges showing that domestic smart track finance totalled 93.5 billion yuan in the first half of the year, with an average of 46.8 billion yuan in each quarter of the first half of the year, while media statistics show that, by the third quarter of the year, there were about 185 financing events in the area of smarty, amounting to 33,335 million yuan, down by more than 10 billion yuan.
It is becoming increasingly difficult for a company to get money from investors. At the same time, in late August, there was a message in the smart PE/VC circle that the industry IPO would be tightened, especially for businesses that were still in loss, and that the criteria for the examination of listed companies for the break-down of the tracks would be stricter.
These factors have come together, and some start-up companies have begun to struggle, including star projects. In February this year, a smart company was set up, and in June it was reported in local media that it “takes down nearly $1 billion in orders” and was recently exposed to salary arrears beginning in August, with 30 or 40 employees in arrears of nearly $8 million. According to the employee, the company has been shut down. Having attracted the United States Corps to vote, byte to jump-off, KIM Shajiang to start-up and panda capital investment, valued at up to $500 million, the first meeting of creditors was held on 19 October, two months ago, when the court, publish, declared bankruptcy and declaration of claims, formally entered insolvency proceedings.
On the one hand, the industry was cold, and on the other hand, the market value of the recent Woo-tree party could not be said to have passed the valuation crisis, but had been temporarily covered by the wheel. The driving force of the round is more from the technological imagination of GPT-6 than from the business itself.
Smarty did not lose capital attention, but valuation anchors had been shifted to customers, orders and cash flows. For Woo-tree, the technology is expected to push the wheel up, and the quality of the operation will determine how far it can go.
