Man, tweak, new kinetic energy.
Taiwan's richest man has changed!
On 27 October, the Hu Yun Institute publish, 2026 Hu Yun Bount. According to the list, the 85-year-old founder and chairman of Chuen Jia Lin, whose family grew by 335 per cent within a year, to RMB 135 billion, and he became the richest man in Taiwan.
The new richest man has a special track record compared to the Big Chip, the House of Haumen, who dominates the economy.
Lin Jungji Primary School dropped out of school and became an apprentice at the furniture workshop, after which most of its life was spent dealing with mechanical hardware. The main product, however, is not a tall algorithm or chip, but an unconventional metal slide in the cabinet.
But the company, which started with the traditional iron factory, now not only ate 80 per cent of the global high-end server slides, but also at 87.42 per cent in the second quarter of 2026, surpassing its customers, Yin Weida, and electricity.
How can Lin Jung-gi, with his two ignoble iron bars, surpass a group of businessmen like Guo Tai-chung and Chen Tai-chung, on the top of 85-year-olds?
One, it went up 335% a year, and the scoundrel squeezed over the big business.
According to the 2026 Hu Yun Bount List, of the 115 top entrepreneurs in Taiwan, the Lin Chung Ji family, with an annual increase of $104 billion and an alarming increase of 335 per cent, was ranked 29th on the China Taiwan list at $135 billion.
Lin Chung Ji's top of the summit has been rewritten as a “ranking” for the rich people of Taiwan. On this list, Zhang Zhang Zhang Zhiheng, a semi-conductor that seals the sun and moon of the giant, the Zhang Hongban family, ranks second with 135 billion yuan; and Guo Zheng, the well-known founder of the Hung Hai Group, withdrew to the third place with 123 billion yuan.
In fact, the rebel attack by Lin Jungji was long overdue.
In May 2026, the 70-year-old chairman of the giant group of passive elements, Chen Tae-gyu, the former husband of Guan Gyon, was the first of the richest Chinese Taiwan on the Forbes real-time luxurious list of China, having just taken advantage of the demand for components driven by the AI server.
However, Chen Tae-chul’s position is not hot yet, and on August 10, Lin Chungji became China’s richest real-time rich man on Forbes’ real-time list with $16.7 billion.
You know, Lin Jung-gi was just on the Forbes Taiwan Rich List in 2025 for the first time at $2.9 billion. In just one year, he nearly doubled his home on the Forbes list.
It is the price of Kawako technology that continues to rise.
On 6 August 2026, the Kawako technology stock price exceeded the 10,000 new Taiwan dollar mark, making it the third “gang gold stock” in the history of the Taiwan stock after its success. By 1 September, the base date for Hu Yun ' s accountancy, Kawako technology had collected a price of NZ$ 14010, which had increased by over 300 per cent in the past year.
The boom in stock prices has pushed Lin Jungji to the top of the rich throne, and what has underpinned the increase in the price of the wheel has been the performance of Lake Kawako technology under the wave of AI.
The profitability of Lake Kawako technology is strong enough to make many of the top technology companies look good. In 2025, Kawako Science and Technology merged to collect 17,501 million Z$ per year, with a net benefit of 103.23 Z$ per share.
After entering 2026, the performance was more of a full-scale blow-out: a single-month profit of 4,443 million new yuan in June, an increase of 220.52 per cent over the same period, and a four-month clean-up of the past, which led to the second quarter of the second quarter of the second quarter of the second quarter of the second quarter of the second quarter of the second quarter of the year, which led to the first-ever breakthrough of 10 billion new yuan; and a further increase of 6,407 million new yuan in July, an increase of 355.52 per cent over the same year.
More than the rate of increase, the Māori rate for Tsenghu technology is an exaggeration: the Māori rate in the first quarter of 2026 was 77.74 per cent, the rate went directly to 87.42 per cent in the second quarter, and a single-season net of $7,088 million.
In contrast, during the latest financial season, the Māori rate was about 75 per cent in Wei da and 66 per cent in the case of electricity. In a metal slide factory, the Māori rate exceeded its chip customer.
ii. The Ai Invisible Champion, who was forced to turn the corner.
Two drawers of iron. Why is it more profitable than a chip? Because it's stuck in the "invisible throat" of the AID data centre.
On a regular server, the slide is a simple pull track, and no one cares. But the AI-high-level cabinet is completely different, with a liquid chiller type like NVL72, a machine moving hundreds of kilos, filled with GPU chips for millions of dollars.
This set of slides carries hundreds of kilograms of weight and pulls back and forth, without deformation; it is also required to operate in extremely compact dispersible areas with a micro-maritic grade, free of tools and fast-dismantling and error-proof operations.
The procurement cost of the slide track itself is less than 1 per cent of the entire cabinet. But as long as it is deformed, stuck, and unable to pull out, expensive GPUs cannot fix the heat, and millions of servers are directly at risk of end-of-life.
As Lin Chungi said, "A server is so expensive that no one can test a fire with his hair."
As a result, large plants have given priority to stability when they are on a procurement slip track, with little or no bargaining, no price pressure and even less incentive to replace suppliers. With this non-replaceable, Lake Kawako has taken about 80 per cent of the global high-end server slides, over 70 per cent of the high-end metropolis, and in 2025 the conductor managed to raise nearly 98 per cent of the company's revenues.
Who could have thought, however, that the invisible champion who had won in the AI track was almost bankrupt by refusing a request for a reduction.
In the early years of their families, Lin Jungji dropped out of the furniture factory as an apprentice in the fourth grade of primary school. In the 1970s, they started their own furniture and hardware, and in 1986 they founded Kawasuo Science and Technology in Gao Hung, which was initially a small factory that produced furniture slides.
What really changed the company's fate was a 2000 negotiation. At that time, a large United States customer, accounting for nearly 40 per cent of the total camp, insisted on a 30 per cent reduction in the price or withdrew all the orders. At the same time, the rate of Māori in the traditional generation industry was between 3 and 4 per cent, and the industry mocked itself as “Mahsan monks (Mags 3 and 4).
Thirty percent of the price reduction is the equivalent of a down payment, and Lin has chosen hard to refuse. The cost was followed by an annual harvest of nearly 44 per cent in the second year of Kawako Science and Technology, the departure of about 40 per cent of management and senior employees and the imminent collapse of the plant.
In a desperate situation, Lin Jungji has resolved to abandon the old alternative path of low prices and to move on to the high-threshold technology route.
At the end of 2001, Comber's original slip-track supplier turned over his car and urgently sought a replacement and found Lake Kawa. With his team on a week-long schedule, Lin successfully passed a rigorous test, taking $100,000 of server slide test orders and creating his own brand, King Slide.
With this order, Lake Kawako technology formally entered the technology supply chain and moved into the IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Guangda and Dale systems.
Today, Kawako holds more than 3,700 patents, and the R & D team has expanded from the first seven to more than 500, with nearly 1,800 employees. During the 2021-2022 outbreak, the early deployment of the AI server's special slide track in Kawasaku secured the dividend when the wave erupted.
The daughter's son-in-law takes over, and hundreds of millions of family businesses break in.
On a track that died for decades, Lin went all the way from a hardware apprentice to the richest man in Taiwan. But for him, who was 85 years old, the next question was how to keep the family on the mountain.
In the area of corporate governance, Lin Jie has already put in place a clear successor: the eldest daughter, Lin Sook-jin, is the Managing Director, Wang Jun-chun, the Deputy Managing Director and spokesperson, and the son, Lin Zonglong, is the Director.
Among them, Lin Sook-jin is at the heart of the successor team. Upon graduation, Lin Suk-jin University entered River Lake and followed the father ' s arrangement to start from the first line of the workshop, to rotate research and development, supply chain and overseas operations. Early on, she was in charge of home-based clients abroad, and when the company was transformed into a server track, she was connected to major international factories such as Inweida and Dale.
It has been 20 years since he took over as Managing Director in 2006. Although the successor team was robust, the sense of crisis under the feet of Lin Jung Jie and her daughter never subsided.
Lin Suk-jin used to describe this wave of Ai business as “like falling gold in the sky”, but she immediately added, “If you don't move fast enough, you can't get it”. She confessed that she was happy and worried every day that a product had just been produced and that she was anxious about where the next generation would be. And Lin Jungji himself said, "The price reduction pressure is every day."
This anxiety is not empty. As the market profits of the server slides, more and more manufacturers see opportunities. The market has recently emerged that Young Weida intends to introduce Nan Joon International on Taiwan, China, as a second supplier to spread supply chain risk.
The size and profitability of the lake are still significantly ahead. In July, for example, Hong Kong Lake amounted to $6.407 billion and Nanjo was about $280 million; the Māori rates of the two companies were about 87.4 per cent and 41.5 per cent, respectively, with a significant gap.
However, for Lake Kawakawa, it is not necessarily the immediate scale gap, but rather the possibility of large clients gradually introducing new suppliers.
To that end, the lake continues to build on its strengths while “revenging” for the future. In terms of business expansion, the company is building in Houston, United States, and is continuously developing products for a new generation of platforms, such as Blackwell and Rubin, and is assessing the extension of relevant technologies to robotics.
In the business layout, Lin Sook-jin did not give up traditional cooking equipment to slip. Long after the 2008 financial crisis, Lake Kawa used the technical complementarities between server and cooker slides to enter the high-end cooker market in Europe and America. This operation, which at one time contributed to nearly 30 per cent of the harvest, also prevented Lake River from relying entirely on the server market.
In the last two years, as a result of the outbreak of AI demand, the server track has risen to almost 98 per cent passively, and the traditional cooking gear slide has fallen to about 7 to 8 per cent in the first quarter of 2026, but Lin has continued to invest in the cooking kit slide, leaving family businesses with a “backtrack” against the cooling of the AI computing cycle.
There may be cycles at the mouth of AI, and there will be tides and tides in the valuation of capital markets, but those long-standingists who take a small matter to the extreme will not return empty-handedly in the “washing” of times.
