MacBook Pro, an upcoming touch screen of apples, may use an interactive design similar to iPhone “Spirit Island”. The developers found five compact pill-shaped interface images in the MacOS 27 system file, corresponding to AirPods connection, focus mode opening, AirPods noise reduction, low power alarms and automatic audio switching.
These images are related to the new menu bar component of the system, MenuBarAgent. The detector, code researcher pdfu argued that this component could pave the way for the touch screen Mac and the live island interface; he also stated that the future Siri artificial intelligence interface might be designed in a water drop-form in an area similar to the “system opening”. However, apples have not yet confirmed that these images represent the functions to be introduced, nor can code resources alone prove that the final product will adopt this design.
This finding echoes previous reports about the touchscreen MacBook Pro. According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to add an area similar to the Animated Island to the centre above the laptop screen; the new money machine type is known to replace Liu Hai, which has been in use since 2021, with a pill-shaped camera opening. MacOS 27 has also been followed by contact and pill-shaped Siri interfaces.
Apples are expected to release the new touch screen MacBook Pro later in the day, but it has not yet been formally confirmed by the apples for the time being, as well as for the time being, for the live island-style interaction, for the camera opening design and for the specific presentation of Siri.
